Work Experience

June 14th 2008 to Present:
Sita site attendant.

May 2005 to June 2008
Fuchs Lubricants (UK) PLC, New Century St, Hanley, ST1 5HU.
Based on site at BAE Systems, Samlesbury Aerodrome. Oils and coolant technician, counterbalance fork lift truck, ((1500kgs @ 500 mm load centers) side shift attachment), 7.5t curtain side truck.
Confined Spaces and I.T.A.R. Training.
Official Secrets Act signed.

1999 to May 2005:
Self-employed wholesale/retail dairy products: Home deliveries through out the Blackburn area. Buying, selling, simplex d accounts, stock rotation etc.

1987 to 1999:
Scapa Scandia, Cartmell Rd, Witton, Blackburn: (Now named Voith) (Felt Manufacturers for the paper industry):
Various roles undertaken including production (Weaving, seaming and inspection), maintenance, research and development.
Over head Crain 1t, pump trucks.

1986 to 1987:
Jonse's Textilities: Working with press machines, powder coating and degreasing (trichloroethylene (Trike), prior to Chromium plating).

1985 to 1986:
Yeoman Upholstery, Mill hill, Blackburn. Covering 3 piece suites, including leather and deep buttoning. Air tools experience.

1982 to 1985:
Apprentice Joiner, Samson Builders. Working out on site, first and second fix, some shop experience (Still to all my own DIY).

1981 to 1982:
Upholsterer, Brockhall Hospital, Lango. Re-covers, carpet fitting and curtaining.

Education
1997 to 2000:
BTEC Higher National Certificate in Computer Studies (Self taught HTML and some PHP, please see website www.simonet.com (All my own creation))

1976 to 1981:
St Edmund Arrowsmith RC High school. Good grades in Maths, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Woodwork.

Personal Profile
Willing keen and able, working as part of a team or self-managed, with special interest in vacancies with training. I am punctual, attentive and always interested. I have always worked and have undergone work related training in the past, including H.N.C, C.O.S.H.H and Manual handling, BS5750 (kite mark) and ISO 9000, 9001 standards. Looking for a company I can get personally involved in.

Life Experience
Single male father to a son named Mathew, brought him up on my own since he was 23 months old, he was 21 on the, 25th of September 2010. I have worked, managed a home and still found time to relax, always interested in learning new skills.

Hobbies
I'm interested in learning new skills, socialising, travelling, music, Blackburn Rovers, gardening, computers, the internet and run the web site (www.simonet.com) in my spare time.
